Dish Towel Handbag

I made this nifty handbag using two coordinating dish towels. The bag is reversible and can carry all your necessities, plus more! It was relatively easy to make; the hardest part for me was sewing around the handles. It turned out cuter than expected and I was very pleased with the end result as was Esme who received it as a birthday gift.

Reversible!

Oooh Kim, this is a great new project... love it! Was it easy aside from the handles? Where do you even buy that kind of a handle? You never cease to amaze me with your creativity and class... you are truly a classy gal!

I'm new to your blog and absolutely love your creativity. I was wondering two things: 1) How did you make the dish towel hand bag and where did you find the handle? It would be a perfect xmas gift for my mom and stepmom. 2) When making the sweater mittens, can you use sweaters made of cotton and acrylic, not fool wool? I love your blog and saw the pictures from Door County. I live in Green Bay and get up there often. Thanks for your help and insight. You are most creative.
