These are two more dresses, from the
Lelia and Ben pattern, that I made for my niece, Madelyn. The pink is a made from an eyelet seersucker-type cotton, and the blue is made from two coordinating fabrics. The main bodice fabric has little birds and the sleeves match the print in some of the birds.
Of course the model and recipient, Madelyn, is even cuter (and sweeter) than the dresses! I was glad to see that they fit her since I had to guess on the size which was tricky living 2000 miles away!

Nicely done! Handmade clothes are such a luxury. I'm sure the recipients of those dresses will look back on them fondly.
These are absolutely adorable! OK, I can see my next project...aside from curtains. I just dug out the sewing machine but have no place to set it up (yet). Soon, tho!
