Schubert - Nocturne Trio

 

Mac and his friends have been rehearsing this Schubert piece, every week at our house, for the last couple of months. Recently they performed the trio in front of a judge for the ISSMA district solo - ensemble competition. They received a superior rating, a gold medal, and will advance to the state competition. 

Mac received a gold medal for his solo piece as well. Everyone's diligence and hard work paid off, and we are so proud of them!

    You don't know me ......as I was just blog surfing...but these young men are wonderful. I love their devotion to their music. I teach trumpet and I love to see young people with a passion for creating beautiful music. Carry on....
